LANKIN, Allan, aged 27, of Barrie passed away peacefully on Friday August 11th after a courageous battle with Cancer.
Allan was born on August 1st, 1996 in Newmarket, Ontario. He graduated from Innisdale Secondary School and went on to pursue a career in timberframing. Allan then worked at Honda for a short time before he found his true passion with CN Rail where he was steps away from becoming a Certified Train Conductor.
A loyal fan of short track racing, dirt bike riding, hunting and cooking; Allan is survived by his supportive Father Kyle (Arla), loving sister Kara (Mitchell), mother Tammy, and a myriad of extended family and friends that have been left with a lifetime of memories to remember his presence with.
Allan will forever be known for his generosity and willingness to help friends in need. Any time of day. Anywhere. For any reason. If you needed him - he was there. Allan will be remembered by all those he impacted for all eternity. He touched innumerable lives with his positivity, infectious laugh and smile.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Adams Funeral Home, 445 St. Vincent Street, on Friday, August 25th between 4pm and 8pm and a Memorial Service on Saturday, August 26th at 11am.
