June 23, 1929 – January 30, 2023
Passed away peacefully at the IOOF Seniors Home in Barrie. Johanna is predeceased by her husband of 56 years Vjekoslav Kmezic and their daughter Darinka (David) Au.
Johanna is also predeceased by her parents Johan and Aloisia Sattelmaier and siblings Mara, Olga, Joseph and Josefina. Johanna is survived by her loving children Jasminka (Victor) Conley, Bernhard Kmezic, Anita (David) Porter, and Helena (James) Howell, and grandchildren Jonathan (Amy), Stephanie (Cameron), Keil, Breanna (Renaldo), Johanna (Jordan) and Abigail, and great-grandchildren Noah and Hannah. Special thanks to the nurses, PSWs and especially nurse Tracy for their wonderful care and compassion provided to Johanna.
