Passed away suddenly at his home in Barrie on May 7,2023 in his 72nd year, David Erle Kitchen, originally from Woodstock ON. He was predeceased by his father Stuart Kitchen, his mother Margaret Cutten (nee Garneau), and his brother Bruce Kitchen (Lorraine). Leaving to mourn his twin brother Don Kitchen of Uxbridge ON, sister-in-law Carol, nephew Mark Kitchen (Dana) of Uxbridge, ON and great nephew Nathan. David also leaves several cousins in both the Kitchen and Ullyett families. David will be fondly remembered by his many neighbours who have offered tremendous friendship and support over the years.
David spent many years in the travel business, including several years working with his brother Don at his agency in Markham, ON. After leaving the travel business, David worked for Tandy Leather in Barrie until his retirement. David’s greatest joy came from his beloved dog Hughie, a mini long hair Dachshund.
Cremation has taken place. David will be remembered at a luncheon at Adams Funeral Home, 445 St Vincent Street, Barrie, L4M 6T5 on Friday May 12, 2023 from 12 noon to 2:00 pm.
