Kirk Stanley Killingbeck, 71, of Barrie, On. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 4th, 2022, surrounded by loved ones after a brief sudden illness.
Kirk was born in Peterborough, On. to Gerald and Elizabeth Killingbeck. The family then moved to Woodbridge, On. where Kirk attended Thornhill High School.
Kirk married his beloved wife, Debbie on December 2, 1972, and went on to have three children, Robert, Tracy, and Rebecca.
Kirk then went on to attend George Brown College later in life where he earned his butchering diploma. Kirk worked as a butcher for over 35 years, getting his first job at IGA in Barrie, then moved on to A&M and finished at Foodland in Craighurst. Kirk was passionate about fishing, hunting and all things outdoors. He was an avid lover of music and was always ready to share a good story.
Kirk is survived by his wife Debbie, children Robert, Tracy (Craig) and Rebecca. He was a loving Papa to Adrien, Ben, Kaitlyn, Arianna and Makai and a brother to Jill, Linda, and Karl.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 25th, 2022, from 1pm-5pm
