KEINDEL, Ellen

Ellen Keindel died peacefully on June 13, 2017 in Barrie, Ontario. She was born May 13th, 1919 in Toronto, Ontario. Ellen was a faithful member of Blythwood Road Baptist Church and served on numerous committees over the years. Ellen and her sister Mae volunteered at Sunnybrook Hospital working with veterans for more than 25 years. Ellen loved her time at the family summer home on Lake Muskoka and spent many years enjoying cottage life with her husband, George, who preceded her in 1990. Ellen will be sorely missed by her son Keith, daughter-in-law Pat and her granddaughter Ashley. The family wishes to thank all those in Woods Park who cared so well for her. Family and friends will be received at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 10 a.m., until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11a.m. Interment to follow at York Cemetery in Toronto, Ontario.
