David John Hunter
June 6, 1947 – September 11, 2023
David ‘Dave’ John Hunter, age 76, passed away unexpectantly at home on September 11th, 2023.
Dave will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 55 years, Joyce Hunter (nee Moulton) and will be forever loved and remembered by his children Daryll (Jen) and Shawn (Amy) and his grandchildren Brodie and Paige. Dave will also be missed by many extended family and friends.
Dave was born June 6th,1947 in Surrey, England. He, Joyce, and the boys have called Barrie home for more than 40 years. Dave was a skilled Master Electrician for most of his career. After a brief attempt at retirement, he found being a part of an incredible team at Comco Canada Ltd. was the perfect fit. He enjoyed gaining new knowledge, while imparting some of his to others. His work schedule allowed the extra benefit of spending more time at the trailer which both he and Joyce enjoyed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 14, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Snow Valley Resort (2632 Vespra Valley Road, Minesing, ON)
