Daughter of Margaret Hendry (Malcolm) and Leslie Hendry of Kingston.
Born in Kingston, she resided in Parry Sound, Sudbury and lastly in Barrie, where she lived out her last days with daughter Susan and her husband Kevin Mair, and was able to be close to all of her children.
Survived by her other daughters Catherine Bruton of Parry Sound, Elizabeth Bruton of London, Ontario, Nancy Bruton of Midhurst, along with her sons Robert Bruton of Barrie and Douglas Bruton and his wife Kimberley Bruton (Walton) of Oro-Medonte Township. Predeceased by her son-in-law Clayton Robert Turner.
Also survived by her grandson James Bruton of Prince George, British Columbia and her granddaughter Sandra Marles, her husband Kolter Marles and her great-grandson Mortimer Marles, all of Scarborough.
Survived as well by her grandson Stephen Downing of Parry Sound, grandson Andrew Downing, his wife Erin Downing (Chapman) and her great-grandson Colton Downing, all of Parry Sound. And survived by her grandson Brandon Rowen, granddaughter Moira Rowen (Wei Shan Wu) and great-granddaughter Penelope Rowen, all of Ottawa, as well as her granddaughter Brittney Huard (Rowen), grandson Adam Huard, and great-grandsons Ryland Huard and Bennett Huard, all of Oro-Medonte Township. Predeceased by her great-grandson Hunter Michael Huard.
Pre-deceased by her brother James Malcolm Hendry, his wife Francis Hendry (Clenahan) and their son Sean Hendry, all of Kingston, and her sister Patricia Allard (Hendry). Survived by Patricia’s daughter Shannon Clarke.
Pre-deceased by her husband Raymond Keith Bruton of Kingston and Parry Sound.
Pre-deceased by her husband Joseph P. Charette and fondly remembered by her stepchildren, (late) Susan L. Harris (nee Charette), Helen L. Healey (nee Charette), Joanne G. Charette Lebert, Marc J. Charette, Dianne M. Park (nee Charette). Also fondly remembered by step-grand-children.
