Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, in the comfort of his home. Carl leaves behind his beloved wife Trish of 21 years, his stepdaughter Kathy Mudryk and granddaughter Genna Mudryk . He is survived by his brother Charles Harris (Marilyn), nieces Sharryn Harris (Ryan) and Lori Curran (John) and her children Amy and Jake, nephew Bill Fraser (Colleen) and his children Claire and Thomas. Reunited with his parents Charles and Edna Harris. Carl will be fondly remembered for his friendly demeanor by many family member and friends. Carl was born and raised in Barrie, living his entire life in the city. He was always busy with his woodworking hobby, leaving his mark in many places around his home. He loved to dance and this is how he met Trish.
Friends will be received on Monday, November 27th, 2023 from 11am to 1pm at the Adams Funeral Home. Interment to take place at Barrie Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association or the Alzheimer Society in Carl’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
