HAMILTON, Yvonne

Yvonne Sylvia Hamilton - Slipped peacefully at Hospice Simcoe on September 3, 2023. Yvonne Hamilton of Barrie, formally of St. Catherines, in her 86th year, was the beloved wife of the late Greydon Hamilton (2004).

Dear mother of David (Heather) of Cold Lake Alberta, Terry Hamilton (predeceased, 1986) of Barrie Ontario, Sharron Myers (Shane) of Barrie Ontario, Susan Stevenson of Thorold Ontario. Loving grandmother of Michael, Jason, Nathalie, and David, step-grandmother of Crystal Hilliar of Cold Lake Alberta, and great-grandmother of two. Loving daughter of the late Lillian and Edward Tilley of Barrie Ontario, and daughter-in-law to Norma and Bill Hamilton (predeceased) of River Hebert Nova Scotia. Sister to Wayne Tilley of 108 Hundred Mile House British Columbia and Raymond Tilley (pre-deceased) of Innisfil Ontario. Loved by many nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Memorial service for Yvonne will be held on Saturday September 9, 2023 at Basic Funerals and Cremation Choices – Jennett Memorial Centre, 152 Bradford Street, Barrie, L4N 3B5 with visitation from 11:00am to 12:00 pm, service at 12:00pm with a reception to follow. A private family interment will be held.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Simcoe or the Canadian Cancer Society.
