Madeline Glover – September 14, 1937-August 30, 2022
Madeline (Midge) Glover (nee Ambrey), 84, of Barrie, passed away on August 30, 2022 peacefully surrounded by her children. Pre-deceased by her husband Lowell and her brother Fred Ambrey. She is survived by her 3 children, Gary (Val), Gail (Rick), Cheryl (Ian), 7 grandchildren Kristy (Marc), Robyn (Paul), Jason (Susan), Sarah (Michael), Ryan (Shannon), Amanda (Jamie), Ashley (Matt) and loving G.G. of 15 great grandchildren.
Her tremendous love of family showed in her dedication to attending any event or milestone possible. She was everyone’s biggest cheerleader and welcomed all newcomers to the family with open arms. She was very social throughout her life and she enjoyed bowling, chit chatting with friends and lending a hand to anyone in need. The Blue Jays were her passion and her family knew not to interrupt a game. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by many.
A celebration of Madeline’s life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 between 11am-2pm at Adams Funeral Home at (445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie, ON). A private family internment will take place at a later date.
