Passed peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital on Friday, July 7th, 2017 at the age of 75. Beloved wife and best friend of David for 57 years. Loving mother of Lynn (Mark), James (Dawn), David L. (Linnea), Patrick (Amy) and Sean (Sandra). Cherished grandmother of Colin, Mackenzie, Evan, Ryan, Owen, Eric, Wyatt, Gabriel and Lukas. Predeceased by her parents James and Ellen Galvin and sister Madeline Kerr. Will be sadly missed by her sisters Ruth Wilkey, Audrey Schneider, Kathy Dickie and Patricia Martin, as well as many life-long friends. Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie on Tuesday, July 11th, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Spirit Parish, 650 Essa Rd., Barrie on Wednesday, July 12th at 11 am. Following the interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, guests are invited back to the Parish Hall for a reception luncheon. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
