Peacefully passed at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, July 12th, 2023 at the age of 86 years. Loving mother of Sheryl Hogg (David) and Doug Hooper (Kim). Proud grandmother of Katelyn Purcell (Mathew) and great grandmother of Ellie and Harper. Predeceased by her siblings Twyla, Walter, Betty, Marjorie, Leslie “Bun” and Dawn. Predeceased by her parents Earnest and Mildred (née Urry). Will be missed by extended family members and dear friends.
In keeping with Anne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will occur in the future. Interment at the Barrie Union Cemetery, 338 Sunnidale Rd., Barrie. Donations in Anne’s memory may be made to either the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Hospice Simcoe or the Canadian Cancer Society and are greatly appreciated by the family.
