Peacefully passed with family by his side at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Cheryl (née Gardner). Loving father of Christopher and Stephen. Proud grandfather of Olivia, Connor and Liam. Dear brother of Lloyd Day (Ann), David Day (Ester) and Lynda Clark (Karen). Will be missed by extended family members and dear friends.
In keeping with Larry’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private service will take place with arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Hospice Simcoe would be greatly appreciated by the family.
