In loving memory of Mary L. Davis who passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022. Mary was born on September 16th, 1943, in Midland, Ontario.

Mary will be sadly and forever missed by her husband of 58 years John Robert (Bob).  Mary often commented that she didn’t know how she managed to get so lucky in finding Bob but was oh so thankful she did! Together they welcomed two children Deanna (Dan) and Scott who will greatly miss her advice and love.  Mary was the cherished Nana of Jeffery (Stephanie), Craig, Joshua, Erick and Lauren.  Mary treasured her family above all else and made sure we all knew it.

Mary was the beloved daughter of Dalton and Phoebe Loney (both predeceased) and much loved daughter-in-law of Bernice and Harry Davis (both predeceased).

Special sister-in-law to Doug & Betty Davis as well as, Sharon & Winston Partridge.  Loved aunt and great-aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

Mary will also be fondly remembered by best friends Lennie & Bob Kirkup, Rosemary & Larry Mogg, Ken & Linda Davis as well as, Elaine & Don (predeceased) Wallwin.

Mary dedicated her life to her family and was a highly underpaid stay at home wife and mom.  Together the family moved 17 times in 42 years in support of Bob’s career.  Mary had an amazing talent for decorating, renovating and landscaping each and every new house; always adding her own tasteful flare to make it truly our family home. Over the years Mary’s hobbies included pottery, paper tole, watercolour painting, shoe collecting and traveling.  Mary had a particular fondness for the United Kingdom, especially the castles and stately countryside.  She would have loved to have visited the UK just one more time.

At Mary’s request, the family will gather together privately to celebrate her life.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Simcoe would be appreciated by the family.
