Peacefully passed at the Grove Park Care Home on Saturday, December 11th, 2021 at the age of 97 years. Loving father of Gary, Debbie (David and the late Bradley. Proud grandfather to Mark and Melissa and their families. Great grandfather of 7 and great great grandfather of 5. Uncle of Carol, Kathy, Mike, Tommy and Brian. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Elizabeth (nee Doyle) Collins and his siblings Michael (Mary) Collins and Anne (Bill) McNeil.
Patrick was Born in Dublin, Ireland and was a life time resident of Vespra (Springwater) Township. He was a retired employee of the Simcoe County School Board and was an avid outdoorsman with a love of hunting and fishing.

Visitation will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 from 11 am until the time we celebrate Pat's life in the Chapel at 12 pm. Reception to follow in the lower lounge. Private family inurnment at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
