On Monday, August 15, 2022, James "Jim" Frances Ceschia of Barrie, Ontario passed away suddenly at the age of 62 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 30 years, Karen, daughter; Lindsay; son, Matthew; sister, Fernanda; mother-in-law, Mary Gibson; brother-in-law, Jack Gibson; sisters-in-law, Sharon Duncan and Shelly and Derrick Smith as well as many nephews (Tim, David, Scott, Luca, David) and nieces (Brittney and Samantha) as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Jim was predeceased by his father, Frank and mother, Julie, and his brother, Dino.
Jim was born in Toronto and moved to Barrie in 2008 with his family. He was a social butterfly, always visiting people, making them laugh, and being a jokester. He had the biggest heart and a bigger sense of humour. He was a lover of golf, beer & wings, motorcycle rides, and sitting around the campfire with dear friends at Bellhaven Trailer Park. Jim loved his family and friends with all his heart and he will be missed by many.
A visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home (445 St. Vincent St., Barrie) on Tuesday, August 23rd from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Wednesday, August 24th from 10-11 am followed by the Funeral Service at 11am. Following the service, a reception will take place from 12-2 pm.
