Passed away at his home on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the age of 87 with family by his side. Beloved husband of Elva (nee Fleming) for 64 years. Loved father of Bob (Debbie), John (Pam), and Debbie King (Bob). Dear grandfather to Matthew (Nicole), Ashley, Nicole (Nathan), Allison, Lauren and Brad. Survived by his siblings Bob (Mary), Marian Sanders (Carl) and predeceased by Stan (Elsie), Ron (Joan), Russel, Ray, Murray (Joan), Glady Laird (Les), and Elsie McFadden (Ron). Brother-in-law to Andy Fleming & family, Vera Molinaro & family. Predecessed brother-in-law to David Fleming & family, John Fleming & family, Mary Plant & family and Joan Fleming & family. Loved by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11 o’clock a.m. on Wednesday June 14, 2017 with visitation from 10 a.m. Interment Stayner Union Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Make-a-Wish Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
