Leonard Keith Arnott passed away at his home with family by his side on Saturday February 5, 2022. Loving husband of Ruth (nee Culp), proud father of Cindy Wallwin, Shelley Arnott, Wanda Arnott, and David Arnott. Adoring grandfather and great grandfather of Fergie (Chris), Addison (Cody), Ty, Nate, Poppy, Hudson, and Jack. Beloved brother of Joan Hollowell (Keith) and Wayne (Lynn) and brother-in-law of Betty (Bill), Bobby (Shirley), and Sharon (Bobby). Predeceased by siblings Warren (Jessie), Jean (Earl), and Lynn (David), parents Leonard and Hilda, sister-in-law Jean (Allan), brother-in-law Ronnie, and mother- and father-in-law Alma and Vincent. Loved by his many nieces and nephews and extended family Craig, Bill, Brian, Linda, Sarine, Amelia, Liam, Megan, Kara, Raichel and Darlene (David).

Keith was born in Conn, Ontario on December 1, 1938 and married ‘his Ruthie’ on October 3, 1959. Together with his brothers (Warren, Wayne), he owned and operated Arnott Construction, a family business started by his father (Leonard). He retired in 1991 and enjoyed doing concrete work and ‘McGivoring’ for his appreciative children. He and Ruth wintered in Florida for 28 years and in summers camped with cherished friends and delighted in the time spent with grandchildren and great grandchildren. Everyone who knew him felt the warmth of his open heart. He will be greatly missed but cherished in our hearts and memories.

His family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the many friends and neighbours who brightened his days with love and kindness. We thank the personal support workers, nurses, and doctors (especially Dr. Belau) who, with his family, enabled him to be at his home for the last six months of his life.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 5-8pm at the Adams Funeral Home, 445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie.
