Passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre at the age of 82. Beloved husband to Betty and loving father to Corrie Holliday, Christie Stone (Gerald) and Chuck Adams. Proud grandfather to Mack, Decker, Katie and Josh and great grandfather to Chloe. Corby made things look easy, he was a devoted husband and father, an exceptional athlete and a successful businessman and Realtor. Behind his numerous accomplishments there were many hours of hard work and practice. Corby is a Barrie Sports Hall of Fame Society inductee https://www.bshof.ca/?p=89 as well as a Springwater Sports Heritage Hall of Fame inductee. https://www.springwatersportsheritage.ca/hall-of-fame/athletes/corby-adams. He was a Rotarian and always humble. Over the years Corby and Betty hosted many gatherings at their home in Minesing. There was always lots of fun and laughter. Friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME 445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie on Thursday, November 2nd from 1 -4 and 6-9 p.m. A private family memorial service will be held. Interment Minesing Union Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Salvation Army or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
