The Barrie Royals under-11 girls basketball team is finishing up a great season with a home tournament in Barrie on March 25 and 26 as a warm-up for the Ontario Basketball Association (OBA) provincial tournament.
The team has had a strong season, finishing up with a bronze in the Just For Her League and finishing third overall in the Ontario Basketball League.
The local girls are now off to the Ontario Basketball Association provincial finals, held in Toronto from March 31 to April 2, where have been seeded third.
The team consists of Harper Ferguson, Scarlett Hope, Willow Duncan, Emily Bannerman, Alexis Greppmayr, Krista Pappas, Chloe Andrew, Maddie Endicott, Myra Anderson, Teia Morar, Roshni Grover, and Tyanna Forget.
