Woman reports being dragged from bed over drug debt

BRADFORD — On Wednesday, June 8, 2016, around 1 p.m., South Simcoe Police were called to a Brookview Drive home for the report of intruders. 

Once they arrived, officers spoke with the victim who told them that she had been dragged from her bed and her phone taken in retaliation for a drug debt. Two suspects were identified and located a short time later.

A 27-year-old Innisfil man and a 32-year-old Bradford woman were arrested and charged with robbery, unlawfully in a dwelling, theft under $5,000 and assault.

They were ordered to stay away from the victim while they await their July court date.
