NEWS RELEASE
COPE SERVICE DOGS
***************************
It is a wrap for Buddy Up for COPE, and the response has been fabulous from everyone!

COPE Service Dogs would like to thank the overall Top Dog sponsor, McDonald’s Canada. Local sponsors included Superior Tire and Auto-Barrie, Barrie Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, Concept of Movement Physiotherapy, Global Pet Foods, Barrie and Innisfil.

Buddy Up for COPE challenged participants from Barrie and Simcoe County to buddy up with their favourite COPE dog and get moving, any way they want, to help raise much-needed funds for Canines in the Classroom happening in Innisfil and Barrie at Nantyr Shores Secondary School, Barrie North Collegiate Institute and Bear Creek Secondary School.

Money is still rolling in until the end of October, but COPE is thrilled to announce that overall, money raised from Buddy Up for COPE totals more than $42,000.

To the individual participants and businesses who championed a COPE dog, thank you so much for your support, and remember, everything is always better with a buddy.
