Special Olympians win big in Nova Scotia

Several Barrie-area athletes win multiple medals at National Summer Games

St. Francis Xavier University, Antigonish, NS, was host to 2018 National Summer Games.

The small town doubled in size last week with approximately 5000 supporters, volunteers, coaches and athletes competing in 8 sports.

Despite the gruelling heat, Barrie athletes representing Team Ontario racked up a record number of medals.
