On the Dec. 15 2016, officers from Midland Police and OPP executed search warrants at residences in the westside of Midland.
Two simultaneous Controlled Drugs and Substances warrants were executed.
Both residences were searched and officers seized cocaine, Percocet and marijuana.
The occupants of the homes were arrested and charged.
They all will appear in Midland Court at a later date.
Charged:
1) Matthew Orton – 29 years of age from Midland
2) Erin Bergie – 25 years of age from Midland
Charges Orton:
• Possession of a schedule 1 substance (other drug) – s. 4(1) CDSA
• Possession of a schedule 2 substance (over 30g) – s. 4(1) CDSA
• Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – s. 354(1)(a) CC
• Fail to comply with probation – s. 733.1(1) CC
• Fail to comply with probation – s. 733.1(1) CC
Bergie:
• Possession of a schedule 1 substance (other drug) – s. 4(1) CDSA
• Possession of a schedule 2 substance (over 30g) – s. 4(1) CDSA
• Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – s. 354(1)(a) CC
