FreshSpoke to offer a safe way for customers to see Santa Claus and support local food. Santa will be visiting FreshSpoke’s distribution facility in Barrie [112 Commerce Park Dr., Unit A] on Dec. 23 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and bringing curbside local food orders to customer vehicles in preparation for holiday feasting.

All are welcome to attend. Curbside visitors are encouraged to bring their children along for the ride to see Santa and pickup their order. All those picking up their order are asked to remain in their vehicle for safe physical distancing. Children will be offered a treat to take home. FreshSpoke requests masks be worn when saying hello to Santa and his FreshSpoke helpers through the vehicle window.

“A visit with Santa is a big part of Christmas for most children and this year shouldn’t be any different,” said FreshSpoke CEO Marcia Woods. “We are thrilled that Santa agreed to take time from his busy schedule to spread a little Christmas cheer and support local food producers and processors.”

With demand for local food at an all-time high, FreshSpoke offers Barrie-area residents a wide array of unique, fresh and local foods year-round. Curbside pick-up is available daily with weekly delivery along the Highway 400 corridor, from Muskoka District to Toronto.
