Barrie Police are asking the public to keep their eyes open for the cash register from Toppers Pizza and a Pizza Delivery bag.

On Monday, August 8, 2016 at 6 a.m. management of Toppers Pizza located at 304 Dunlop Street West, in the City of Barrie, received an alarm call. Upon attending the business a short 17 minutes later, the manager found the door had been forcefully entered.

The suspect removed the cash register by yanking the cable that mounted it to the wall and hiding it in a pizza delivery bag, leaving the same way he came in.

Description:

  • Male, white
  • Wearing dark hooded sweat shirt, camo shorts and dark shoes

The business has since been reinforced with a secure locking mechanism and back up lock to ensure this does not happen again.

Barrie Police believe the suspect will have a cash register as well as a pizza delivery bag with Topper's Pizza on it.

Police are continuing their investigation at this time and wish for anyone who may have information to please contact PC P Matte of the Barrie Police Service at 705-725-7025 ext. 2557 or email atpmatte@barriepolice.ca. Any information can be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or leave an anonymous tip online at www.tipsubmit.com
