Search warrant executed in the city of Orillia

ORILLIA – On April 07, 2016 at approximately 10:30 p.m., members of the OPP Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), in conjunction with the Community Drug Action Team (CDAT), Orillia OPP Street Crime Unit, OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), Central Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), and Central Region Canine, executed a search warrant at a residence on Mary Street in the City of Orillia.

During the execution of the search warrant police located and seized a quantity of crack cocaine, cocaine, cannabis marihuana, and paraphernalia associated with trafficking.

Daniel Pollock, 41 years old of Orillia, has been charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Cannabis Marihuana, and Breach of Probation.

He has been held in custody for a bail hearing in Barrie court on April 8, 2016.
