There was much damage but no injuries when two vehicles crashed mid-afternoon Sunday at the intersection of Anne Street and Essa Road in Barrie.
The vehicles involved were a white GMC Denali pickup truck and a dark blue Kia Sportage, which had its front bumper torn off.
The GMC’s air-bags deployed during the crash, which damaged its driver-side door.
Barrie firefighters, paramedic and police responded to the crash.
Traffic was diverted to Adelaide and Simcoe streets while the vehicles were removed and the crash scene cleaned up.
