New pay-it-forward initiative comes to Barrie (14 photos)

FEED IT FORWARD EVERYONE-LIVE IN FREEDOM EVERYWHERE

Feed It Forward Everyone, Live in Freedom Everywhere (FIFE4LIFE) has come to Barrie, with 14 restaurants on board to help their patrons help feed their neighbours in need. 

FIFE4LIFE is a pay-it-forward food program designed to offer free choice, easily obtainable cooked meals to anyone in need 24/7.

Patrons of participating FIFE4LIFE restaurants purchase separately, a food item or a full meal from the menu for people in need and pay that meal receipt forward. That receipt is then placed onto a FIFE4LIFE POSTER BOARD affixed close to the front door for those in need to easily see from outside (before going into the establishment) if there are any prepaid meals. They can then come in and inconspicuously remove the receipt they wish to redeem for food. 

• FIFE4LIFE ASKS NO QUESTIONS.  
• NO REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.  
• NO EMBARRASSMENT.  
• NON-JUDGMENTAL. Absolutely no policing.  
• FIFE4LIFE accepts people at their word. 

FIFE4LIFE was designed with the homeless in mind but also helps the elderly,  children who go to school hungry, and the many now trying to make ends meet from a huge lifestyle change they may be experiencing from job loss due to this pandemic.  

FIFE4LIFE supports anyone requiring food supplementation.

FIFE4LIFE is a selfless program and currently all promotional materials required for each restaurant are paid for by private individuals. In the case for Barrie the KIWANIS CLUB OF BARRIE have paid for all the promotional materials. 

THIS PROGRAM COSTS YOUR RESTAURANT NOTHING. IT ONLY MAKES YOU MONEY WHILE SUPPORTING THOSE LESS FORTUNATE IN YOUR COMMUNITY. 

During this COVID-19 crisis it is a great time to bring this program to fruition as it will increase your business while helping to feed those in need. All that is required is that your doors are open even if it is only for takeout. 

FIFE4LIFE was started in February 2020 in Alliston,Beeton, Tottenham, Angus, Stayner and most recently in Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Creemore, Shelburne, and Bradford and it is very successful.
