Man charged with sexual assault after two women grabbed

BRADFORD - On Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, just before 1 p.m., South Simcoe Police were called to the Walmart store in Bradford after two women reported being sexually assaulted. The victims were able to supply responding officers with a description, and the suspect was arrested a short distance away.

The first victim reported that she had been grabbed while standing in an aisle in the store. As the man fled the store, he approached another victim and grabbed her as well. The second victim was able to photograph the suspect in order to identify him.

A 28-year-old Brampton man was charged with two counts of sexual assault.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
