HUNTSVILLE, ON - On Sunday November 20, 2016 shortly after midnight, Huntsville Fire along with Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of a vehicle fire at a residence on Chaffey St., in the town of Huntsville.
Members arrived to find that an older model van was fully engulfed. Once the fire was extinguished investigation found that a body was inside the van. Offices of the Ontario Fire Marshall, along with the assistance of the OPP Forensic Identification Unit attended and are investigating the circumstances around the cause of the fire.
The body has been taken to the Office of the Chief Coroner and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service (OCC-OFPS) to assist in determining the cause of death.
The deceased has been identified as Paul Michael FENC (39yrs) of Huntsville, ON.
Investigation is continuing.
