TAY TOWNSHIP – On Jan. 13, 2016 at approximately 12:12 a.m. a member of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a motor vehicle travelling at 120 km/h in an 80 km/hr zone on Highway 12 in Tay Township near Victoria Harbour.

While conducting their investigation, police found the two occupants to be in possession of what is suspected to be cocaine. The male driver identified as Treston Brown (age 23) of Etobicoke, Ontario is charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
  • Adult Driving While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act

The male passenger, Adams Suleman Ankamah (age 22) has been charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

Both the accused are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on Feb. 23, 2017 in Midland, ON.
