Barrie Fire and Emergency Service is currently at the scene of a gas leak on Dunlop St. East.
A ruptured gas line has resulted in the evacuation of seven buildings in the area which are currently being vented.
Enbridge is at the scene.
The public is asked to avoid the Dunlop, Poyntz, Collier area until the situation is resolved.
