Barrie police are urging business owners to be aware after a fake $100 bill, although poorly made, was used in the city.
Police say they seized the counterfeit bill on Thursday from a 24-hour convenience store on Big Bay Point Road.
"The quality of the bill is poor and business owners are encouraged to be on the look out for other counterfeit $100 bills that may be passed over the coming days," police stated in a Twitter post.
