The U11 team, coached by Mike Dominelli, Paul Zyla and Jocelyn Houben, had an amazing season, with a perfect 33-0 record in their age group.

The team brought some past experience from last year, with eight returning players and four new players this season.

The team includes Harper Battrick, Londyn Houben, Saige Barrowclough, Anna Pitts, Pearl Tabika, Kayla Grant, Gweneth Smieszek, Josephine Zyla, Sophia Dominelli, Isabella Ashwood, Claire Gallagher, and Hailey Bartlett.

After an undefeated season in league play, they landed in the provincial tournament seeded number-one going into the weekend.

The Barrie Royals Basketball Club congratulates the coaches, players and the team as a whole on their outstanding accomplishment.

They join only a very small number of teams in Royals Basketball history to become provincial champions.
