'Music of the Night' returning to Georgian Theatre in April

Upcoming concert will celebrate 75th birthday of renowned composer Andrew Lloyd Webber

On April 5, The Music of the Night, a musical concert tour celebrating Andrew Lloyd Webber's 75th birthday, will be back in Barrie at the Georgian Theatre.

Music of the Night: The Concert Tour honours Andrew Lloyd Webber's 75th birthday and showcases his acclaim as the most successful theatre composer of all time.

His legacy is second to none, and his compositions are some of the most popular and celebrated pieces of musical theatre ever written. His works shine bright in this production.

The Music of the Night: The Concert Tour highlights some of the best-of-the-best from Phantom of the Opera, Evita, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sunset Blvd., and more.

The cast is composed of musical theatre veterans, including tenor Nic Kyle, who is familiar with the stage and the works of Andrew Lloyd Webber. Kyle is an internationally acclaimed tenor – now living in both Canada and New Zealand – who has performed in London's West End and played Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar in Australia and New Zealand tours and is currently in a touring production of Shrek.

The cast also includes Canada's own Melina Shein, who stunned audiences with her high-noted Phantom vocals. Under this acclaimed creative team of Sound the Alarm Productions, Music of the Night will remind audiences why Andrew Lloyd Webber is the musical phenomenon he is known to be.
