Missing Mariposa? Check out this Lightfoot performance from 1964

Iconic Orillia folk singer is among the artists featured in 'virtual stage' shows in the absence of this year's festival

Since June, the Mariposa Folk Foundation has had the pleasure of presenting four different Mariposa Virtual Stage shows:

  1. Mariposa Virtual Stage, Episode 1 featuring an unearthed Gordon Lightfoot live recording from the 1964 Mariposa Folk Festival, and a contemporary performance by Dala.
  2. Mariposa Virtual Festival 2020 starring Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, This Way North, The Small Glories, OKAN and Mimi O'Bonsawin
  3. An Intimate Session With Serena Ryder
  4. Mariposa: Live at the Tranzac Club with the National Arts Centre featuring Julian Taylor and Kalyna Rakel

Thanks to our great hosts and longtime Mariposa supporters Shelagh Rogers, Treasa Levasseur and David Newland.
