Indie pop-rock artist Brigitte Eve is celebrating the release of her debut EP, I’m Stupid, a powerful and gritty song that delves into the idea that traditional education may not be suitable for everyone.

The EP includes a heartfelt ballad called Unimaginable, which has been earning widespread acclaim for its sweet melodies and captivating vocal textures. This EP showcases Brigitte Eve’s versatility with four distinct styles, including the surf-rock-inspired Self-Control. You can watch the music video on YouTube channel Brigitte Eve. Finally, the EP features Fight, a true indie rock anthem with edgy vocals and infectious guitar rhythms.

Brigitte Eve completed an exciting summer of live performances throughout Ontario. Her performance at the Gussapolooza Music Festival 2023 in Cookstown gained her the award, Emerging Young Artist of the Year. She rocked her live performance on the acoustic stage, opening the festival on Friday, Sept. 15, 2023, where she shared some original music which has never been heard before.

Things are ramping up for Brigitte Eve as she continues to get bookings across Ontario. Her upcoming shows are listed on her events page on her website, BrigitteEve.ca, including Junction Underground located at 2907 Dundas St. W., Toronto, Dec 21, 2023. Doors open at 8 p.m. and cover is only $20 at the door. Special guests Johnny Bongos and Francesca Panetta.

Brigitte Eve is a multi-talented artist, singer, and songwriter, proficient in both electric and acoustic guitar playing. She began playing the guitar at the young age of 10 and started performing cover songs at 13. Her live performances have graced events like the Toronto Santa Claus Parade, local pubs, restaurants, and outdoor venues.

With a foundation in rock and classic rock genres, Brigitte Eve has been a professional musician for over three years, serving as both a rhythm and lead guitarist, with an impressive ability to learn guitar riffs on the spot.

Brigitte Eve’s talent has garnered recognition through her performances across Ontario. She participated in the BMO Walk So Kids Can Talk, a Kids Help Phone fundraiser, where she performed her original song, Gonna Be O.K., at the Southshore Centre in Barrie. Brigitte remains humbled and grateful for the support and encouragement she has received from fellow musicians in her hometown of Barrie, the Greater Toronto Area, and her fans worldwide who share her musical journey.
