ADOPT ME: Bonded dogs in need for forever home

Barrie Animal Centre says Dakota and Oreo are inseparable

BarrieToday, in partnership with the Ontario SPCA Barrie Animal Centre, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.
These playful pups are two peas in a pod.

This perfectly bonded pair is looking for a forever home.

Dakota is a 10-month-old Australian shepherd. She is active, energetic and does well in a home with older children who can play with her and take her on long walks. This sweet girl is cuddly and loves attention.

Dakota’s best friend is Oreo. This male husky mix is two-and-a-half years old and is friendly and playful yet independent.

These lovable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and up to date on parasite and flea prevention. They will also go home with food from Royal Canin to help them make a smooth transition into their new home.
