*************************

My name is Rob Cunningham. I am running for the position of Simcoe County District School Board trustee Ward 3, which encompasses Wards 7-10 in Barrie.

I am married with two amazing sons, aged 20 and 17.

I have always wanted to be involved in my community. I coached representative baseball in Barrie for 11 years.

Now that my sons are older, I feel it is great time to try another rewarding venture.

I have lived in Barrie since 1982 and have seen many changes along the way. I spent 31 years working at Honda Canada Manufacturing and the last couple years in retail auto sales.

I believe a fresh voice and a new sense of perspective is what's needed for our students, teachers and administrators.

I see my biggest strength as a communication expert able to listen, encourage and collaborate with diverse groups of people.

I believe our schools need to be places where students feel safe, confident and excited to be at.

On Oct. 24, I respectfully as for your vote for Simcoe County District School Board trustee Ward 3. Thank you.
