On Friday evening at 9 p.m., Barrie Police received a call from a citizen who had witnessed an accident in Midhurst and was following one vehicle that had left the scene.

Two drivers face impaired driving charges after being picked up in unrelated incidents last night.

A South Simcoe Police officer attended to a call on Holland Street at 2 a.m. this morning for a driver who maybe in distress. When the officer arrived he observed a male laying back in his seat and unresponsive to the officer banging on the window.

Motor vehicle collision involving pedestrian On Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 9 a.m. police were called to a pedestrian struck at the intersection of Meadowland Avenue and Springhome Road, in the City of Barrie.

She was last seen on November 4, 2015 at approximately 4:50 p.m. near Julia Crescent in the City of Orillia.

Public Intoxication The Barrie Police were busy last night with multiple occurrences dealing with intoxicated individuals. Between 4 p.m. and 2 a.m., police made seven arrests at various locations throughout the city for public intoxication.

Ident officers attended and retrieved evidence from the scene.
