The delicious breakfast spot you may be craving right now (3 photos)

If a big breakfast is what you need after the last few busy days of the holidays come to a close, Gibby G’s is the perfect cure for your hunger.

Owned by Peter Grigoriades and named after his son, Gibson Grigoriades, Gibby G’s will celebrate four years of serving some of the best bacon and eggs in town this coming May.

The all-day breakfast spot is a hit with those who come through the doors at 489 Yonge St., and server Erin Magill says it is more than just the food that has made customers become regulars.

“It is so friendly here and I think that is a big reason our customers keep coming back,” said Magill. “There is also so much space here to come and get a bite to eat so as busy as we get; there is still usually a spot to enjoy a meal.”

Steak and eggs, eggs Benedict, French toast and Belgian waffles are just a few of the popular breakfast items that Gibby G’s is known for, but they are also popular with the lunch crowd and serve everything from burgers and salads to hot turkey sandwiches and soups.

Magill has been working at the family owned establishment for a year and a half and says she likes it more than other similar businesses she has worked at because of the friendliness of her fellow staff.

“I really like the hours as 7 a.m. to 3 p.m work very well for me as mom and we’re always busy so there really isn’t a slow period that drags on,” said Magill.

“It also has that kind of throwback feel with everyone getting along," she added. "The staff and management are great to work with and the customers become such regulars that you know what they want when they walk in the door.”
