Achieve peace of mind with Namast'eh yoga

Sometimes a relaxing night with friends can help a person focus and eventually create a business that serves North America.

Kristal Kennedy and her friends were just having a fun night together and the discussion turned to subscription boxes and their love for the ecommerce businesses. Kennedy said the discussion also included the flaws of the boxes.

“Me and some friends were having a few drinks and hanging out talking about how awesome subscription boxes are with the only real flaw being that they’re mainly in the U.S.,” Kennedy said. “One thing led to another and I ended up beginning the journey of shipping yoga and athletic wear.”

Namast’eh was born and for the last two years has been growing as a leading subscription box company out of Kennedy’s basement. Namast’eh ships all over Canada and the U.S., dealing with eight different yoga companies.

“When you subscribe to Namast’eh, you give us your information where we create a profile for you,” said Kennedy. “From there I pick from our suppliers to provide you with the look you need for either the studio or elsewhere.”

Putting in six to seven hours a day, Kennedy is working on Namast’eh full-time now, having previously worked for a not-for-profit in Ottawa. While she is alone in the business as she orders, sorts through items ships on her own, she is thankful for the help she does get from friends.

“My girlfriends have been helping with modeling and take photos which has been a huge help,” said Kennedy. “As for the other work, it's just me, but I really enjoy it and it's very freeing to work on a project that you start from the ground up.”

Some of the name brands you can order from Namast’eh are from Tonic and Daubt+Design with many others available as well. To order from Namast’eh you can head to their website here.
