Police seek assistance identifying suspect in credit card theft

The Barrie Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a female who is believed to be in possession of a stolen credit card.

The victim noted her credit card missing on Tuesday, June 20, and immediately contacted police. Further investigation has led police to obtaining video surveillance which captured the suspect utilizing the victims’ credit card at Freshco, located at 409 Bayfield St., in the City of Barrie. 

It is believed the suspect utilized the credit card at several gas stations and Mac's Convenience stores in the north end of Barrie.

The investigation is ongoing.

The Suspect is described as:

  • Female, white (38 - 40 yrs.)
  • Dark hair pulled up into a ponytail
  • Wearing a grey 3/4-length shirt
