On Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017, police received a report of a theft from a residence located on Ferris Lane, in the City of Barrie.

The victim had reported that two x-Box consoles had been stolen from his residence after he had left for work. Further investigation led police to speak with a friend of the victim. It was quickly determined that the victim's friend had broken into the home after he had left for work, and removed two consoles and several accessories, which were then taken to a local pawn shop.

Police located the items and returned them to the victim.

A 29-year-old Barrie woman has been charged with; break and enter, fail to comply with recognizance and possession of property obtained by crime, and will appear in bail court Wednesday morning.
