VIDEO: Police appeal for information relating to 2011 missing person investigation

Kelly Coleman has not been seen since the summer of 2011

CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP - On April 6, 2012, the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) issued a media release asking for the public's assistance in locating Kelly Coleman who was 34-years-old at the time and had not been seen or heard from since early August 2011.

The investigation has continued tirelessly over many years under the supervision of Detective Inspector Dave Robinson of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch. This included a lengthy search of a rural property in Nottawa where Kelly resided when she vanished. This search also included members of the OPP Canine Units, the OPP Emergency Response Team and the use of heavy equipment.

Continued efforts to locate Kelly included numerous media releases, the posting of a large billboard on Highway 26 between Wasaga Beach and Collingwood profiling details of the case as well as a $50,000 reward.

In a further effort to solve Kelly's disappearance, the OPP has issued a video on social media hoping to jog people's memory and help bring this case to a resolution. This video can be viewed above.
