Updated suspect descriptions issued in yesterday's robbery investigation

Suspect fled the scene in a black Dodge Charger

On Thursday, April 4 shortly after 1 p.m., Barrie Police responded to a reported robbery at the Freedom Mobile located at 555 Essa Rd. Two males entered the store with their faces covered and threatened the lone employee with a knife, demanding inventory from the store. The employee did the right thing and complied with their demands, and the suspects made off with a quantity of inventory. They got into a waiting vehicle and fled the plaza. The employee did not sustain any physical injuries.

The updated suspect descriptions:

Suspect #1:
    •    Male, East Indian, aged 20 – 25 years
    •    5’5” to 5’6” tall
    •    Black hair, brown eyes, medium build
    •    Wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt

Suspect #2:
    •    Male, East Indian, aged 20 – 25 years
    •    5’7” to 5’8” tall
    •    Spikey hair and facial hair
    •    Wearing a red hoodie, with a grey face covering and red/black running shoes with a white coloured sole

Vehicle description:
    •    A black Dodge Charger with unique rims
