Uber driver returns woman's wallet containing over $1,000 in cash

An Innisfil woman reported to South Simcoe Police Service that on Jan. 16, 2020 she lost her wallet containing all her identification and over $1,000 cash.  

On Monday, Jan. 20, 2020, an Uber driver from Bradford showed up at our North Division in Innisfil to turn in a wallet he found in his vehicle. Police called the ecstatic owner and she came to the police station to retrieve her wallet still containing all her cash and identification. 

Shout out to the Good Samaritan who did the right thing and brought the lost wallet to police.  We hope someone pays it forward for you today!
