ESSA — At approximately 9:30 a.m. Sept. 26, 2016, members of the Nottawasaga Detachment, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 27, at the south end of Barrie.

The investigating officer determined that both vehicles were northbound, and slowing in traffic when the accused’s vehicle rear ended the car in front.

With the assistance of an OPP, Drug Recognition Expert, it was determined that the driver was impaired by drug.
