Two charged in Talbot Street break and enter, assault

TAY TOWNSHIP, ON. - On Feb. 27, 2017 at approximately 11:29 p.m., members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report that two males wearing disguises had just forced their way into a residence on Talbot Street.

An initial OPP investigation revealed that two males attended at a residence on Talbot Street and when the resident opened the door these males force their way in, however the occupants in this residence where able to get these males out and then call Police.

After an extensive investigation that included assistance from the Midland Police Service two males have been charged in this crime.

Charged with "Assault", "Break, Enter a place - with intent to commit indictable offence" and "Disguise with intent" are Jonathan J. Magee, 25-years old from Midland, ON. and Jeremy D. Beacock 27 years old from Tiny Twp.

Police have further charged Magee with "Public Mischief" and "Fail to Comply with Probation Order" and have also charged Beacock with "Breach of Recognizance".

Both accused will be attending at a Court of Justice in the Town of Midland at a later date.
